Feeling like Charlie daily, the difference is that im not in high school anymore, i dont listen to the smith's, i'm not a guy and i didnt kissed the prettiest girl in the room....
This book and movie is like a beating heart, every single time i think about giving up, i read or watch it, and i feel alive again. I love how Charlie talks about his experience in high school, how he is not a relible character and how nobody is perfect, just people learning. "We accept the love we think we deserve" this frase changed my life in ways that i can't explain. Exactly i can, i ended a long term relashion ship because of it, after realising that i was accepting a "love" that i did not deserved.
Charlie in many ways teach us to look inside and learne how to comunicate, even if its just writing a few pages for someone you think that would understand you. This book also shows how its important to have someone to help and someone you can look up too, that in this matter was his teacher, Sam and Patrick. The way he learned a little bit how to live, express, confess and share with these people its so important, even when during the learning he commites a few mistakes, like kissing the prettiest girl in the room.
When i can, i will post in this page pictures of the book with my favorite pages.
Love always,
Sara. ✨
